Welcome to my practice! For over ten years I have worked as a licensed counselor, with experience in addictions, family violence, at-risk adolescents, and working with the HIV/AIDS population. I have specific training in Cognitive-Behavioral, Rational Emotive Behavioral, and Solution-Focused Brief therapies. These therapies have been shown through research to be effective in treating depression, anxiety, addictions, and other mental health diagnoses. I also like to incorporate relaxation, mindfulness, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) techniques, and art therapy techniques in my work with clients.

I specialize in the treatment of women ages 25 & up dealing with challenges such as difficult life transitions, people-pleasing, procrastination, avoidance, perfectionism, a harsh inner-critic, relationship issues, family drama and other related issues. I have the most success with clients that are open to increasing self-awareness about their own emotions/behaviors and willing to consider leaning into change if needed. Change is hard though, so that's why I'm here. To support & hold space for my fellow women on their journey.

Kiddos, teens, and young adults are my jam. I understand family conflict, struggles with social interactions, anxiety, depression, and all the things that these age groups have to face, especially in a world that doesn't seem to be kind and understanding of their obstacles and needs, almost dismissing their experiences as undeserving of being taken seriously. These youth are seeking to find their place in the world and feel confident and worthy of moving through life with the love and respect they deserve. They're eager to learn more about themselves and make sense of the world around them and becoming self empowered in the process.

Deb Everett is a Licensed Marriage, Family Therapist with over 20 years experience working with adults and children, couples, families and small groups. Jean graduated with my MSW from Edinboro University. She has spent her professional life being a part of the helping relationship. Jean had the opportunity to work at the forensic unit, domestic violence shelter, addiction facility, and as a clinical program director for an adolescent facility.
