I have been married for 16 years and have three adult stepchildren, a son-in-law and 3 grandchildren. I also have 2 cats that are important members of the family. The spirit of and definition family is something that has grown and has become valued over the years. My life experiences have given me insight and perspectives that allow me to make unique connections with my clients. I learned that life is ever changing. Dr. Jurek's specialty is treating Child and Family challenges. He utilizes a collaborate approach to address ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar Disorder and Marital and Family issues. Clients' ages range from three to seniors. Dr. Jurek's clinical training allows him to administer Diagnostic Assessments and to provide comprehensive treatment which may include: play therapy, parenting skills, individual, couples and family counseling. He offers an inviting, safe environment to assist individuals and families navigate through life's difficulties.

Tamara is a Certified Daring Way™ Facilitator trained by Dr. Brené Brown and her team. Tamara studied marriage and family dynamics in her doctorate program. She is certified in the Gottman marriage counseling method I & II and utilizes Sue Johnson's theory of Emotionally Focused Therapy for repairing attachment in couples work. Tamara is trained in EMDR therapy I & II which is used for treating trauma.
