There are different addiction counseling theories and no one approach is appropriate for all situations and all clients, so my specialty is "you"! I utilize my experience and education to gauge the most beneficial and effective approach for the individual. The only requirement is that it is positive recovery.

I am a Substance Abuse Professional (SAP), and Master Addiction Counselor (MAC), which means I met all the Department of Transportation requirements for helping safety-sensitive employees. I also help adolescence and children affected by addictions.

This is not a peer support group but instead is group counseling lead by a professional therapist. The focus is in the here and now and personal growth is facilitated through participation in interpersonal relationships within the group.
