I believe there is power in vulnerability and in asking for help when life gets too heavy to manage. Empowering clients through their struggles, honoring individual experiences, and uniqueness are my passions as a therapist. As Soren Kierkegaard says, “Life is not a problem to be solved but a reality to be experienced.” I have years of training in forensic psychology and counseling techniques dealing with adolescents, adults, individuals, couples, and marriage and family counseling. My specialization includes group therapy in areas of intimacy and addiction. I am specialized in dealing with moderate and more serious mental health issues especially anxiety, impulsivity, and depression.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Nationally Board Certified Counselor specializing in the treatment of individuals who have experienced trauma. I have experience working with individuals presenting with depression, anxiety, PTSD, emotional dysregulation, as well as crisis intervention, safety planning, individual and group therapy. As a queer woman, I have both lived experience and extensive scholarly knowledge of the LGBTQ+ community, and tirelessly advocate for "family". I work with adolescents ages 14+ and adults. My approach to therapy is grounded in feminist & existential philosophies.
