I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor. I am one of 30 therapists certified to do CPT in the state of Texas, which is the therapy used for trauma and PTSD. I work with various populations including active duty service members from the air force,army,navy and marines as well as the international pilot training wing, their families, veterans, and clients of all ages. My clients include ones with with abusive histories, physical,emotional,sexual,ritual, or currently in an abusive situation. I am certified in CBT, CPT, TF-CBT, EMDR, and TF-EAP. Life can be really chaotic, unfair, overwhelming, and/or conflicting. Relationships with our significant other, children, extended family, and even friends can get difficult and hard to maintain how you want. You can end up feeling pretty lonely, or you might feel lost not knowing which direction to turn is the best. Sometimes it feels like there is so much that has happened it's hard to know what it is that is causing all the feelings. My therapeutic philosophy involves utilizing a holistic approach incorporating Gestalt and Adlerian therapies. As a Licensed Professional Counselor who specializes in athletes, children, adolescents, and young adults, I frequently work with clients experiencing issues related to poor sport or school performance, life changes during adolescence, life transitioning from college to career, parenting issues, sibling relationships, and divorce family transitioning. Topical issues may include low self-esteem , ADHD, transitioning from athletic identity, peer relationships, anger management, self-mutilation, eating disorders, and self-empowerment. A fundamental element in my approach is establishing the therapeutic relationship through rapport and building trust between the client and the therapist.

I am an experienced marriage and family therapist and maintain a speciality as a Certified Eating Disorders Specialist (CEDS). I worked for many years at major eating disorder facilities in the DFW area, providing education and support to individuals and families at various stages in the recovery journey.
