I am a licensed marriage and family therapist in the state of Tennessee. I am well versed in working with young adult females, couples, families, and parents. I am experienced in working with challenges ranging from self esteem, family of origin issues, anxiety, family, relationship conflicts, boundary setting, parenting, life stage transitioning, and communication. Therapy goals that I commonly work with include communication, increasing self esteem, effectively coping with anxiety, boundary setting, emotional expression and increasing couple/family connection for an overall better quality of life and relationships.
As a clinician, my areas of strength include working with young adults to increase self esteem, decrease and manage anxiety, addressing family of origin issues, and navigating adulthood. I am confident in assisting couples to increase effective, direct communication and emotional expression; and helping parents set boundaries with their children.
I place importance on forming an honest, direct, non judgmental relationship with my clients. I believe that a strong therapeutic alliance creates an environment where my clients and I can collaborate on setting therapeutic goals and structure to fit their individual needs. I open my schedule to clients in private practice Monday-Friday from 9am-6pm.
