I work with adults as well as children/teens from age 9-17 years old. I have personal knowledge and experience with individuals in public safety, hospital staff, military, and first responders. I can relate to the stress and strain that type of work causes in your personal and professional life. I am trained in Compassion Fatigue and Burnout (CCFP) that can help you enjoy work and activities again. My experience in that area has transitioned well over to helping others. Depression, anxiety, relationships, communication are all hidden issues when you think it is just being tired or “worn out” from your work.

If you have another insurance, my practice uses a tool that makes Out-of-Network reimbursement easier and less expensive for you up-front. My practice also offers an Affordable Therapy program serviced by our Graduate Student Intern. These sessions are $30 per session.

My expertise is working with children, adolescents & families. Children are our next generation & I believe that investing in them is one of the greatest gifts that we can provide to them! I have experience working with children in an educational setting as a former preschool teacher, as well as clinical experience as a licensed counselor. I would love to work with your child to help teach them how to identify & express their emotions in a healthy manner. I offer in person services for individual counseling, family counseling & virtually by Telehealth.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Addiction Counselor. I received my Doctoral Degree in Behavioral Health from Arizona State University and my Master’s Degree in Counseling from Webster University.

I solely work with clients experiencing addiction disorders, their families, and co-occurring mental health. I offer virtual sessions for NC residents and am in-network with Aetna (NC Only). I offer virtual and in-person sessions for SC residents and can discuss insurance benefits on a case-by-case basis. I do not accept BCBS of SC. I also enjoy assisting other professionals by providing clinical supervision in North Carolina (CADC, LCAS-A, LCAS) and South Carolina (AADC, LAC).
