I am experienced in depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, relational conflict, family systems, addiction, criminal justice, anger management, eating disorders/body image, and mood disorders. The ideal client actively wants to explore their behaviors and thinking patterns and identify the underlying causes of these behaviors. In addition, the ideal client will be willing to tackle goals inside & outside therapy sessions. My ideal client would be an individual who is internally and externally motivated to change their life. They show up to sessions on time consistently and make a conscious effort to engage in the therapeutic process.

As a clinician who specializes in relationship issues and self esteem, I am a focused, engaged and passionate helper. I work with my clients to explore self-defeating thoughts that contribute to their life challenges, with the intent of achieving a more balanced (and "fair") interpretation of themselves and their surroundings. As a classically trained cognitive behavioral therapist, I am a firm believer in the notion that past traumas play-out in our adult lives.

I enjoy working with clients who want to get to the root of their struggles. These clients would like to gain insight into their symptoms, something difficult that has happened to them or to explore cycles and patterns that aren’t serving them. The clients I see often have attended therapy in the past. The clients I see also often present with attachment-based traumas, symptoms of post-traumatic stress, and difficulties in their personal and work relationships.
