Dealing with painful loss or an ending? In a life transition? Need to make a major decision but don't feel sure? Often people get stuck in emotional cycles and shadows of the past that offset clarity and objectivity. I offer 40 years of experience helping people through these kinds of times. Through my life coaching/mentoring practice, I provide an empathic and practical appoach to identifying patterns and providing insight, while helping clients work through fears and find solutions. I believe that developing self-compassion as one gains awareness, is useful to making changes and acting with more confidence and assertiveness.
My practice consists of people (individuals and couples) dealing with everyday life challenges, relationships, career, and stage-of-life issues including questions about having a baby, dating, or how to care for elderly parents. I also work with artists, writers, and entrepreneurs engaged in working towards increased productivity and confidence as creatives.
In each session, I attempt to give my client(s) the sense of being understood and less alone in the struggle to grow and gain perspective. Collaboration, co-creating the coaching (or mentoring) experience and teaming up so the person feels less alone, is key. I tend to give feedback regularly.
