I commend your courage in seeking the services that fit you best! I work primarily with those healing from trauma, shame, and self doubt that is impacting their relationships with themselves and others using EMDR & Equine Assisted Therapy. My goal is to help you holistically heal from trauma, reframe your beliefs surrounding yourself and the world around you, improve your overall mood and coping skills, and find a more balanced and effective sense of self.
I have a variety of experiences with levels of care, ages, populations, and therapy modalities. I have experience with a variety of diagnoses and clinical needs. I offer EMDR and DBT both in office (Davidson) and via equine assisted treatment, as well as Equine Assisted Psychotherapy at a private farm in Huntersville. Virtual sessions can be offered as well.

Groups
Equine Assisted Self-Esteem and Social Skills
These groups serve those needing to improve their sense of self and social skills. Clients will learn about themselves and their relational skills while gaining inner confidence and self acceptance. Each group will have 3-6 participants of the same age range and are offered for pre-teens, adolescents, and adults. Groups will consist of ground-based equine activities and are not a riding based experience. Groups are offered in Huntersville at a private farm near Gilead Road. No horse experience is necessary.
