I have over 30 years of counseling and case management experience, helping clients with a variety of concerns: depression, anxiety, stress, relationship issues, codependency, boundaries, self-esteem, life adjustments, grief/loss, work-related concerns, substance use disorders, health issues, caregiver stress, etc. I can assist someone with short-term solution focused counseling, or more chronic concerns such as abuse and trauma. I also offer completion of the Substance Use Evaluation for Driver License Appeal in Michigan. I am also Board Certified Case Manager, as my "day job" is a CM in medical family practice.

I come alive helping others grow through their trauma and begin living life again. As an experienced therapist offering EMDR, I have worked in the mental health field since 2006 and specialize in trauma, PTSD, car accidents, violent attacks, couples/family counseling, grief/loss, panic/anxiety disorders, and depression. I love working with children as well as adults and families. I strongly believe and practice treating each person as a whole, unique, and talented individual. I have earned two masters degrees in Social Worker and Public Administration, both received from Arizona State University.

My ideal client would be an individual ready to work through life changes. I work well with adults (18+) who are highly motivated to work in therapy. I work well with anxiety, depression, addiction, and parenting issues.

If you work with me we will figure out the good and the bad ingredients of your recipe. Some ingredients are beyond your control, some are not.
