My professional background includes working with a wide variety of clients from children to older adults. I have provided mental health and substance abuse outpatient counseling including individual, group and family therapy. I have worked with a broad range of presenting issues including anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, adjustment difficulties, grief and loss, relationship problems, family conflict, mood disorders, personality disorders, psychosis, thinking disorders, codependency, domestic violence, self-esteem, women’s issues, spirituality, chronic illness, chronic pain, dual diagnosis, and addictions.

My ideal client is an adult or young adult (16+) transitioning into any new area of life or has issues related to school, moving, family issues, relationship issues, friendship issues, and more. I also specialize in working with high school, collegiate, amateur, or professional athletes who are wanting to improve their performance in their sport. Ideally my clients will be self-motivated and eager to work on how they can better their focus and their technique in practice, game, and other life settings. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor with a Masters Degree from the University of Illinois Springfield. I started my field work as an addiction counselor in outpatient and residential settings. I have great knowledge and expertise working with addictions and recovery, but also specialize in treating ADHD, especially in adults. Other areas of experience include anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, couples therapy, and family therapy. I am a certified Yoga Instructor, and often use yoga as a therapeutic modality in my sessions.
