An Intervention may be needed when a loved one refuses to seek professional help (denial). Maybe the problem is Bipolar Disorder, Severe Depression, Schizophrenia, or some other psychotic disorder. Maybe there’s an Eating Disorder, Gambling, Gaming, or Pornography addiction, or more commonly, an Alcohol or other Drug Problem. “Dr. Dave” Janzen is an Interventionist and Counselor based in the Atlanta area (Suwanee) specializing in Interventions for chemical and behavioral addictions, families dealing with addicted or mentally ill (or both at once) loved ones, and organizations that are distracted by conflict and turmoil.

I have over 25 years working in the field of psychology. I believe that the key to most emotional and psychological problems lies in relationships, those in the past and in the present. I believe conscious and unconscious behavior patterns can cause difficulties in life, and these behavior problems can be changed or modified. My approach is eclectic , and I use various modalities within a psychodynamic framework. I am also trained as a trauma specialist and EMDR therapist. I believe trauma can keep people stuck in behaviors and emotional dysfunction and EMDR is a highly effective way of reprocessing "stuck" trauma.

Moeller and Associates was founded in 1995. All clinicians have a Masters Degree or PhD in Psychology, Social Work, or Counseling along with designated State Licensure and/or Certifications. This team offers expertise in mood disorders, anxiety disorders substance abuse, relationship/marital issues, grief counseling, and workplace issues. Populations served are for children, adolescents, and adults of various multi-national backgrounds. All clinicians within the team participate in ongoing education and training allowing them cutting edge knowledge of behavioral healthcare and interventions to improve one's mental health. Dr. Cantor obtained his Masters and Doctorates in Psychology at the State University of New York at Stony Brook with special interests in Developmental Neuropsychology. He is trained in Clinical Psychopharmacology and holds Diplomates from the American Board of Forensic Examiners, International Academy of Behavioral Medicine, Counseling, and Psychotherapy, and Fellow Status of the Academy of Learning and Developmental Disorders, and the American Board of Psychological Specialties - Neuropsychology, and the National Acadenmy of Neuropsychology. He is a specialist with Developmental Disorder such as ADHD and Autism, Neurotrauma, Biological factors underlying Depression, and Forensics.
