I have extensive experience with mood disorders, trauma and addictions and work with all ages. I am trained in EMDR and use that technique with both children and adults if appropriate. My clients often state when they first spoke to me they felt immediately at ease and did not feel judged. I am able to assist my clients in seeing patterns in their life story and work to identify and change core beliefs such as "I'm not good enough", "I'm defective" or "I cannot trust others."
I have worked with a variety of clients coping with mental illness, adjustment disorders, trauma and substance abuse. With children I often see behavior issues relating to their life stressors as well as issues related to impulse control or anger management. I also help clients cope with chronic illnesses and the effect on their family.
Myself and the other clinicians at A Time to Change Counseling Center are approachable, professional and laid back. We have been in practice since 2003 in Wakulla, Franklin and Leon Counties.

Veteran's Support Group is a therapy process group offered in a hybrid format. Open to any Veteran who wishes to connect with others. There are no fees for this group. If the Veterans has Community Care, the group may be funded by the VA.
