As a therapist my main goal is to help my clients feel confident in their abilities to manage their mental health stressors. I am able to assist with career planning, stress/anxiety and depression management. I typically work with children, adolescents, and adults. Marriage and family counseling are also services I provide for those who may be experiencing hardships or just need a safe space to talk. I take the time to get to know and understand my clients and their individual needs to help them be the best they can be.

I have in-depth training in play therapy, relational therapy, and trauma. For the past 16 years, I have directly worked with adults who had these problems. I offer mental health counseling for dual disorders, substance abuse, addictive behaviors (i.e., food, gambling, technology), the impact of family members' addiction, adult children of addicts (i.e., ACOAs), codependency, and more.

I have worked with children with significant behavioral concerns and their families for over 10 years. As a mother of children with significant behavioral concerns, I know how hard it can be to live with the judgment of others about your parenting and the internal struggle to help your child navigate their world successfully. I can help you find the right approach that doesn't take up all of your time and energy to implement. I specialize in working with parents to decrease problem behaviors and increase more prosocial ones. I will also work with your child to build skills in coping with frustration and the word "no".
