Genesis Counseling is a group private practice serving South Florida, with locations in Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Coral Springs and virtually throughout the state. We have a team of therapists with a wide range of different specialties. Our team works with children, adolescents and adults on issues related to; anxiety, depression, school concerns, family and marriage struggles, communication, grief and loss, trauma, life transitions, behavioral disorders, LGBTQIA+, EMDR, eating disorders and other mental health issues. I have been treating both minor and lifelong problems in living and loving for more than 30 years. Doctoral and Postdoctoral training and experience with a wide range of people and problems helps me offer you a deeper insight and genuine understanding of your experience, and to make change! I can help you if you are at all invested in making things better in yourself and your life. My primary interest and challenge is as a psychotherapist. I work regularly with adolescents, individual adults and seniors, marital and family relationships.

I am originally from Maine and opened my first private practice in Connecticut where I raised my two children. After some time we admitted defeat with the winters of New England and moved to Florida so my husband could follow his career as a US Marshal. I continue to love working with patients while enjoying time with my family, the beach, reading and exploring new places and cuisine. I am a licensed clinical social worker providing therapeutic services to patients 16 and older. I take a holistic and patient-centered approach to the care of my patients.

My goal as a therapist specializing in mental health is to create a supportive environment in which my clients can explore their emotional needs and overcome barriers that limit their full potential. I take an open-minded approach to client wellness and consider the client's work life, family traditions, cultural and spiritual beliefs, and sexual identity.

Arielle Theodore is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor of Caribbean descent who received a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health at Monroe College in New Rochelle, New York and obtained her Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling at Hodges University in Naples, Florida. Arielle has over 5 years of experience working in the field of Mental Health and presently conducts individual and family therapy to pre-teens, teens, young adults, and the adult population.

Aided by her warmth and authenticity, Dr. Charette creates an environment where patients feel supported and empowered to share their experiences. She has over a decade of experience in working with patients who have experienced a life change, trauma, grief or loss and are experiencing adjustment difficulties, anxiety, and/or depression. She provides individual, couples and family therapy for teens, young adults, adults and older adults. Dr. Charette has specialized training and experience in helping patients transition to parenthood and cope with infertility, pregnancy-related concerns and postpartum depression, anxiety & OCD.

I have more than 30 years of experience working with adults and adolescents in individual, group, and family counseling, I was trained at Columbia University School of Social Work in New York. Dr. Fader is a Licensed Psychologist and Board Certified Sex Therapist, and Diplomate of the American Academy of Clinical Sexologists. Dr. Fader provides individual psychotherapy with adults and adolescents, and conducts marriage and family therapy. She also serves as an expert witness in matters of divorce and custody. She specializes in the treatment of depression and anxiety, relationship issues, and all aspects of sexual concerns and dysfunction. Dr. Fader is a frequent contributor to Men's Health magazine, Rodale Press books on relationships and sexuality, and has lectured on a wide variety of psychological issues.

I am a board certified clinical psychologist and have experience working in private practice, hospitals, residential facilities, and outpatient agencies providing psychotherapy to adolescents and adults through individual, couples, and family formats.My specialties include the treatment of eating disorders depression, anxiety, personality disorders, and relationship difficulties. I have thirty-five years of experience in the field of education and counseling. I earned my Master's Degree at Bradley University where I was named The Merle Kaufman Scholar, awarded for outstanding achievement in the College of Education. I did additional graduate work at Nova Southeastern University and have attended and/or facilitated dozens of seminars. My areas of study focused on speech and hearing sciences, learning disabilities, counseling psychology, marriage and family therapy, and human sexuality.

I have over 6 years of experience working in the field of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Disorder. These opportunities have contributed to my extensive understanding, belief, and practice associated with psychotherapy. I work from a strength-based perspective, encouraging self-compassion and positive self-regard for my clients. I believe in establishing a positive working relationship with clients in order to create a healthy therapeutic rapport in order to increase a positive treatment outcome. I am a licensed marriage and family therapist with a masters in counseling education from the University of Miami.
