Building rapport with my clients is the first and primary on going focus of my practice. It is important that whomever you choose to work with understands your concerns, goals, and life direction as you see it. I take the time to understand who you are, where you come from and where you are going in order to effectively provide treatment that best suits your needs in individual, couples, family, or group counseling. From a foundation of Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Systemic Family Therapy I provide direct but sensitive counseling services to those struggling with a variety of concerns.
I provide counseling services in a variety of settings, including individual, couples, family, and group in order to address concerns ranging from struggles with life changes to severe mental illness, and relationship./family distress. With focuses on Relationship issues (romantic and platonic), anxiety, stress reduction, grief/loss, chronic pain/illness.
The stigma around counseling has lessened over the years. However, I understand that there may still be a sense of discomfort when deciding to begin the process. Maybe you are unsure of how counseling works, maybe your past experiences have been negative. I am here to make the process more comfortable, transparent, and productive!

Professional Connections

t's quite a challenge to encapsulate my experiences with Erika Clark in a "brief" paragraph. Suffice it to say, throughout my academic career Erika has been in a word, Inspirational. Compared to other colleagues in this arena, her work ethic is unparalleled. Constantly striving to be the best she can be, she is a motivating force for those around her, not excluding me. She is highly supportive of her colleagues, often going out on a limb and being their voice when they themselves feel as though they have none. Her passion for her clients and her profession are both contagious and impressive. I am so grateful to have had the honor of calling her a fellow student, co-therapist, and friend. I would strongly recommend Erika for any client, as I have seen her work, her passion, her love, and her energy, and they truly are, Inspiring.
