Working two decades as a therapist, clinical supervisor and business owner, I've developed expertise in marriage, family, individual and child counseling, conflict resolution, anger management, personal development, men's and women's issues. I have 25 years of experience in theater, art and improvisation. This background enables me to incorporate creativity into therapeutic settings. Living in different countries and traveling extensively, I've gained knowledge of different cultures. Experience in business, psychology, the arts and cultural diversity gives me a unique, multi-dimensional perspective for effecting therapeutic change.
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy because it is clinically proven to be most effective in treating mental health issues. I work collaboratively with clients, designing the best treatment plan for their needs. My clients spend valuable hours in session as well as actively practicing new life skills outside the office.
I believe that the strong seek out psychotherapy. I deeply respect those who choose to develop emotional intelligence and behavior they can be proud of. I'm humbled by the feelings and mental spaces people delve into. I'm honored to take the journey to mental health with my clients.
