Do you ever feel like your mental health is like quick sand? The more you fight it the deeper you sink in? Are you struggling with your relationships as a partner, parent, or child? Do you feel tired? Do you feel like a burden? Mental health issues can be exhausting and sometimes you need someone to help you get out of the quicksand, recognize how to stay out of it, and help you build better relationships with yourself so you can have relief from pain, connected relationships, and happiness. My passion is in working with adults, couples, suicidal teens, and families. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive place to heal, grow.
I specialize in trauma disorders and relationships and I aim to create post-traumatic growth. I provide EMDR and Emotionally-Focused couples therapy, and talk therapy to clear trauma, strengthen positive and healthy patterns, improve communication, and goal-focused work to help you live a life you never thought possible.
Carolynn has a master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and is currently a doctoral candidate at Liberty University studying Traumatology, Community Care, and Counseling. She specializes in trauma-informed EMDR, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Ketamine Assisted Therapy with Anew Therapy Utah.
