Sandstone Care provides substance use, addiction, and mental health treatment for young adults (ages 18 to 30) and adolescents (ages 13 to 18) including Residential Treatment, Day Treatment (PHP), Intensive Outpatient (IOP), and General Outpatient (OP) programming.

I am also an experienced evaluator, I provide mental health and substance abuse evaluations for the individual and the courts. I have been in the field of mental health, substance abuse/addiction therapy and treatment for 24 years, and I have worked with more than 2500 clients and families.

After working with children and families for 15 years in foster care and adoption settings, I developed a passion for empowering people who have experienced trauma, grief and loss, and who struggle with relationship issues. Life always presents challenges and the ability to move through those challenges with a strong sense of self is important. I work closely with clients to develop a strong therapeutic relationship, which engenders an environment of safety and promotes healing. I am an EMDR Certified Clinician which integrates attachment theory, CBT and emotion regulation. I also use child-centered play therapy with children.
