I recognize the value of guiding and helping parents in their goal of improving their family relationships, utilizing play therapy and other psychodynamic techniques and interventions. I help children and adolescents to express their emotions and reactions to challenges in their lives. Families play an essential role in children's healing processes. The interaction between children's problems and their families is always complex. Play therapy helps in multiple Social, Emotional, and Behavioral Disorders.

I completed my master’s in social work (2018) at the University of Kansas. While completing my graduate program, I worked with elementary school students in an after school program and teens in an acute care setting at Research Psychiatric Center’s adolescent inpatient unit. Before coming to FPS, I worked as a Children and Family Services Clinician in a local community mental health center. During my years in practice, I have worked with a diverse range of clients from children to adults with depression, anxiety, self-harm behaviors, ADHD, and adjustment disorders, as well as those experiencing concerns around gender identity.

As a clinical social worker, I have spent time working alongside of teens, young adults, and adults as they work through issues varying from typical developmental struggles to having to adjust following major life traumas.
