Dr. Jodi Samuels Shir is a Florida Licensed Psychologist and has over twenty-five years of experience in treating individuals, couples, and families for a variety of mental health issues. Dr. Shir received her Bachelors’s, Master’s, and Doctoral degrees graduating with the distinction of high honors from the University of Florida. She completed her internship at Nova Southeastern University with a specialization in child trauma and family violence. Since 1991, Dr. Shir has developed a focus on the treatment of emotional and behavioral problems of children and adolescents.

Jennifer Garcia is licensed as a Mental Health Counselor in Florida and a Qualified Supervisor for Mental Health Interns. Jennifer is an Independent Contractor with Genesis Counseling in Boca and Coral Springs, FL as well as virtually. She attained her Masters in Mental Health Counseling from Florida Atlantic University. She has 17 years experience working with clients with mental health and substance abuse disorders and individuals dealing with attachment issues and childhood trauma.

Paul Modesto is a Licensed Psychologist and a Marriage and Family Therapist. Dr. Modesto is also a certified Reality Therapist and Parent Effectiveness Training instructor. His areas of expertise include the treatment of anxiety and depression, phobias, stress management, anger management, weight management, marital couple counseling, ADHD, and management of OCD. Dr. Modesto conducts psychological-diagnostic evaluations of I.Q., academic difficulties, ADHD, and for Social Security Disabilities and Emotional Support Animals.

Hilary is passionate about working with adults, children, adolescents, teens, and caregivers who have experienced trauma to improve overall functioning in the family systems and communities in which they live. She has provided therapy to individuals who have experienced grief/loss, witnessed domestic and community violence, medical trauma, abuse, neglect, and involvement with the dependency system. Hilary has also worked with individuals who have social, emotional, behavioral, development and learning concerns.
