I'm Luisa Silva-Casullo, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist deeply committed to guiding individuals through their unique therapeutic journeys. I intimately understand the complexities of the transition to parenthood, allowing me to be particularly attuned to the needs of women navigating this transformative phase of life. I specialize in working with individuals at any phase of their reproductive journey, including, but not limited to, some of the following themes: contemplating whether or not to have children, fertility struggles, perinatal mood and anxiety disorders and coping with the struggles of parenthood.
My therapeutic approach is grounded in a systemic perspective, recognizing that challenges often manifest within the context of relationships. I collaborate with my clients to identify personalized solutions. Embracing a strengths-based perspective, I strive to illuminate my clients' inherent strengths, leveraging them as powerful tools for positive change.
One of my favorite things about being a therapist is being able to hold space and pay witness to people’s stories and their healing journeys. The strength and vulnerability that this requires is not something that I take lightly and I feel truly honored to be part of this process for people.
