I specialize in treating marital conflict, depression, anxiety, as well as PTSD and other trauma related issues. My psychotherapy practice is focused on working with individuals, couples and families in distress. I practice from the perspective that the problems you are experiencing are part of a greater pattern of emotions, thoughts and actions that guide how you see yourself, others, and the world.

I believe in the power of therapy to help people escape the grip of the trauma: I work with survivors of childhood sexual abuse, domestic violence, abusive relationships, rape and sexual violence, terrorism, and political violence. I understand that making a commitment to yourself through psychological therapy is a significant and important step for many people.

I enjoy working with clients of all ages. I am often referred adolescents who are involved in the Juvenile Justice System. I am qualified to provide sexual education and guidance to all ages within the framework of their family, community, and religious beliefs. I give parents guidance in helping them to navigate through the courts and their children's schools while offering advice and additional resources. I provide psychotherapy for people struggling with family or personal issues. I am available daytime and early evening hours.
