I am a licensed psychologist, with 30 + years in the field of clinical psychology. I also work with diverse population, using multi-cultural perspective in addressing Individual and family situations. I love to know people's strengths even when they feel hopeless. I believe that Therapy is a team effort from beginning to end and I am there to support and be with.

I believe most people are innately resilient, and only need a fresh perspective to help them to restore balance to their lives. I begin by getting to know my client's unique life experience, beliefs, concerns, and behaviors. We then work together to identify, challenge and discard self-limiting beliefs and behaviors, and help them choose more constructive beliefs and behaviors that produce positive life outcomes.

At TCTCS, we are all about providing relief and recovery to our clients. Throughout our life spans, we will experience a variety of transitions and traumas. Everyone experiences these adjustments in different ways. Examples of our traumas include but are not limited to: post partum depression, divorce, bullying, cyber stalking, relationship adjustments and separations, loss, medical illnesses, mental health challenges, domestic and/or sexual violence, betrayals and surviving child abuse etc. We have a team of trauma informed therapists who presently have availability. We speak Hebrew and French and English.

Therapy is different for everyone. I believe that our early relationships and experiences deeply shape how we see ourselves and respond to feelings. I use a flexible model of therapy that draws from Internal Family Systems, Emotionally Focused Therapy, neuropsychology, feminist/multicultural, and attachment theories. An emphasis is placed on appreciating the current emotional coping system before attempting to change it. I see my role as helping you develop a relationship with the parts of yourself that you may avoid, reject, or fear. My role is not to fix you (-you're not broken), and it is not to solve your problems.
