I began working in the fields of Addiction/Dual Diagnosis more than 35 years ago. Graduated from Syracuse University in Psychology; completed a master's program at ASU in Clinical Psychology. Graduated from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill (MSW). Extensively trained/experience with family systems, addiction, dual diagnosis, expressive arts, grief/bereavement therapy, clinical supervision & relapse prevention. I enjoy creative challenges and have an innovative approach with clients that emphasize individuality, personal growth and change. Accepting Medicare, Tricare, CBHA, BCBS (PPO), UHC, & Optum.

I am licensed for Telehealth in Florida. Helping couples is an extreme passion for me as it's the most important relationship in an individual's life. The ability to have a healthy, thriving marriage is my goal in working with couples. This growth is often painful and joyful but worth it! I also work with partners of sexual addiction/infidelity to aid in healing from the trauma, setting boundaries and the process of formal therapeutic disclosure (including polygraphs where desired). I also utilize Gottman interventions. For couples looking for a more intense approach, I offer a 6 hour one day intensive.

Now accepting new clients! Taking the first step into therapy can be the hardest. I am here to help individual clients, adolescents ages 11 and up, and adults, navigate this process with ease. Right now more than ever things can seem so out of ones control. My goal is to help you navigate life's ups and downs and transitions that are thrown your way. My passion lies in helping those experiencing issues with depression, anxiety, grief/loss, trauma, relationship (peer) issues, and behavioral issues (teens) and general life transitions.

​My training and education makes me a good fit for individuals, families, and couples experiencing depression, anxiety, self-esteem, family conflict, trauma, grief, life stressors and parenting. Many of my clients tend to be women aged 29 to 55 seeking change in their lives - however, I also enjoy working with men, particularly if they have never done therapy before.

And just trying harder never seems to work. Whether you have ADHD or some of the traits attributed to it, trying harder isn’t going to work. What the well-meaning people who try to help don’t know is that you need to try something different. Each time you lose your keys, forget to turn off the stove, or get sidetracked and lose track of time, you roll your eyes at yourself. Not again!

Dr. Lauren Gross is a licensed psychologist, school psychologist, & health service provider with 18 years of experience in her field. Dr. Gross has an expertise in the treatment and assessment of individuals with emotional and behavioral concerns, including but not limited to Depression, ADHD, Anxiety Disorders, and trauma (EMDR certificate through the EMDR Institute) .
