Through my last almost 20 yrs of working in the mental health field, I have had the pleasure of working with a wide range of individuals, families, and couples. I currently work with adults, families and couples.

I work with a variety of life issues, from trauma and grief to depression, anxiety and everyday stressors in between. My hope for our work together is to help my clients develop a deeper sense of knowing and trusting themselves. I strive to provide a space to explore how and where a person may feel stuck in order to move forward with a better sense of awareness and a greater level of compassion. I believe when self-awareness grows, we are able to show up differently in our relationships, desires, and lives. I also believe change is possible when we have a trusting therapist/client relationship to build off.

We have an innate need to be in relationship. It is the very foundation of what it is to be human. We need to experience love, reciprocity and fulfillment. A healthy relationship considers the needs of others, focuses on patience and kindness, maintains honesty and trustworthiness and is nurturing. I'm a therapist who works at helping my clients restore love and trust within their identity and among relationships by essentially helping them become their own therapist. Everyone experiences violations in relationships and it's when we're without a restoration process that we continue feeling pain.

Sometimes life gets heavy and hard. There IS HOPE for a better tomorrow. My clients want support for many issues, among them grief and bereavement, depression, anxiety, and assistance with serious health diagnosis, and adjusting or readjusting to new life circumstances. I have certifications as a Clinical Telemental Health Provider (CTMH) as well as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP). I have over a decade of experience working in a variety of fields, including trauma, early childhood development, child and adolescent crisis, intensive-in-home family therapy, and private practice working with children, adolescents, families, couples and first responders.

My focus is above all to offer therapy which empowers individuals. This starts with genuinely respecting your autonomy and right to choose your own path. Whether you're getting by "good enough" in your life but still find yourself discontent and aren't sure why, or you're dealing with mental illness (e.g., anxiety, depression, trauma) which is beginning to unravel your relationships and your life. You may seek short-term symptom relief, and this will always be respected, on the other hand, you may choose to dive deeper to clarify and work on the root of a reoccurring problem. I am available evenings, in person as well as by telehealth.
