I am a licensed professional counselor specializing in Play Therapy. My passion is working with children and families. I have extensive experience working with children in various capacities; daycare provider, preschool teacher, junior high teacher, high school teacher, middle school counselor and play therapist. I believe in working with the entire family when treating a child. The entire family system needs assessed, in order to enact change, to aid in the healing of a child who has experienced trauma or who is experiencing adjustment difficulties. I welcome the opportunity to work with children ages 3 - 18 and their families.

Now accepting new clients! I'm Kimberly and I am a licensed marriage and family therapist located in Downtown Lee's Summit. I work with teens (17+), individual adults, and couples. I often work with clients that are struggling with depression, anxiety, difficult relationship dynamics, grief & loss, stress & burnout, or life transitions such as high school seniors, college students, young professionals, pre-marital couples, expecting and new parents. I am trained in EMDR, which may be helpful in healing from trauma and other experiences that have been difficult to move past.
