I founded the group practice Classen-Miller & Associates which offers a full range of clinical approaches for all age groups with our licensed clinicians reflecting the full diversity of our community.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I strive to use a positive psychology to bring insights and empowerment to my clients. Over the past 20 years, I have used Cognitive Behavioral techniques, a Person Centered approach and a warm style of coaching, to support individuals who struggle with mental and emotional difficulties. As a seasoned therapist and trained in EMDR for Trauma, I work with those who have Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, Stress & Anger Management issues and a host of other life struggles. The focus in therapy is to move towards a more stable, healthy and progressive way of living.

We are a diverse group of clinicians providing client-focused, family-centered, and trauma-informed care. This practice also provides mental health first aid certification for organizations and groups.

My passion is helping others to live their best and most productive lives. I work from an eclectic theoretical approach, using modalities such as CBT, DBT, and Mindfulness, to support clients to learn effective coping strategies and to build self-esteem. Joseph is a holistic and integrative therapist and his core principles are compassion, collaboration, and transparency. He has extensive experience in counseling individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, work/life balance stressors, life transitions, substance use, and other areas. He provides counseling to couples and families to address stress, communication concerns, and conflict. Additionally, Joseph facilitates groups including a Men’s Wellness Group, an Emotional Regulation Basics group, and a Healthy Relationships Group.
