Malina provides services to adolescents, adults, families, and couples. Her therapeutic approach leans heavily on psychodynamic theory while using other modalities based on the unique and specific needs of her clients. She engages through elements of EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy), EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and Family Systems Therapy, among others.

Life can often present us with challenges that leave us feeling not like ourselves. I offer a holistic approach to therapy using evidence based practices, somatic/body techniques, mindfulness/meditation, & family systems techniques within an attachment framework. I work with children, adolescents, adults and families. My therapeutic approach is humanistic, strengths-based and attachment-focused. I am a culturally-sensitive clinician, who emphasizes working transparently and collaboratively with clients of all backgrounds and orientations. In an effort to synthesize my love for music with my passion for mental health, I also co-founded Backline Care, a nonprofit organization providing mental health and wellness resources to those in the music industry.

I approach therapy from a mindfulness based perspective. As a trauma informed therapist, I use a variety of modalities including CBT, DBT, and mindfulness based techniques with adolescents, adults, and families. I provide an empathic and safe space by empowering and partnering with clients. I strive to help people work through past difficulties and limiting beliefs while unlocking their own strength and resilience. I have a background working in community based mental health as well as in residential care settings.

I was born and raised in Argentina. I'm a bilingual, cross-cultural and international therapist and supervisor. My background allows me to navigate the challenges and benefits of being in one place and experience more than one culture at the same time. I have always held a profound curiosity about human psychology, relationships, child development, and the intricate tapestry of family and social dynamics. I am committed to guiding and supporting clients on the profound journey of understanding and embracing their family dynamics, recognizing their place within it, and learning how to take what they need from it to thrive in life

I support women, adolescents, and children that are managing emotional distress and lack of behavioral control brought on by trauma, anxiety, depression or other mental health issues.

I believe in empowering my clients to recognize the strengths in themselves to deal with life's challenges. For 20 years, I have provided therapy to children, adolescents and families in the areas of anxiety, depression, trauma, attachment, parenting and divorce. I work collaboratively with my clients to identify their treatment goals and believe in the importance of establishing a trusting therapeutic relationship to affect change. I use a variety of therapeutic approaches based on the individual needs and goals of the client. My work with youth addresses increasing self-awareness, building self-esteem and problem solving.

I work with those who believe that relationships (with ourselves, others, and our environments) are what make life meaningful. I have a special interest in the intersection between ADHD and self-esteem issues, but I work with individuals, couples, and families around a variety of issues. Everyone's journey in life is filled with challenges that often help us to understand more fully who we are. Sometimes it is helpful to have another perspective, a guide, or tools to navigate these difficult stretches of the journey. I have worked with individuals, couples, and families in counseling for the past 20 years and was an educator prior. I work with a wide variety of clients, but have extensive experience working with anxiety, depression, divorce, parenting, life transitions, personal discovery, and spiritual issues.

Ryan, aka "Coach Vigh" or "Vigh", takes an integrative approach to Therapeutic Mentoring by utilizing multiple theoretical models, in addition to educational strategies, to best fit an individual client's needs. "My approach emerged from my formal instruction in Cognitive Psychology and Educational Psychology, my experience working in the field for 15 years, as well as my desire to instill positive changes in someone such as those that my mentor was able to foster in me."

I have a specialized interest in treating relational trauma, as I believe this is the source of complex trauma that begins with our family of origin. I am versed in issues such as codependency, love addiction/dependency, infidelity, betrayal/trauma bonds, generational trauma, and other negative consequences of relational trauma. I primarily utilize RLT (Relational Life Therapy) and EMDR (Eye-Movement Desensitization Reprocessing), as traditional talk therapy is not enough to alleviate us from negative symptoms, as the cognitive part of the brain is disconnected from the emotional experience in the body and so remains "stuck."

I have worked with many indiividuals and couples, and what separates those who benefit from therapy are the people motivated and courageous enought to peek into their blind spots, and as well as committed to learning from sometimes painful trial and error experiences of being human. I feel honored to lead people through this powerful process.

As a former first responder, Andrea has many years of lived and work experience of the effects of trauma and PTSD. She has worked with people of all ages to overcome life's obstacles, substance abuse, difficult emotions, loss, and grief. Her practice includes a mindfulness-based approach and deep cultural sensitivity. Meeting your personal goals of gaining awareness of thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are done in a confidential and caring manner.

Mindfulness Over Matter is a women-led, lgbtq+ friendly, counseling practice that supports teens, adults, veterans, POC, and survivors of trauma and abuse. We also see couples, families, and administer parent coaching. We have supported clients in meeting goals in many areas including: work; school; relationships; substance cessation; stress reduction; improved self-esteem; healing from trauma; coping skills; life transitions; emotional issues related to being adopted or fostered; coping with grief and loss; and improved emotional health and functioning.
