Hello, I’m Lisa. My name is Lisa Morris and I am and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) from Oceanside, California. I meet with clients throughout California through telehealth. I work with individual adults and specialize in PTSD, anxiety, stress, and depression. I utilize Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Family Systems, and Eye-Movement, Desensitization, and Reprocessing (EMDR), which is a specialized treatment, specifically focused on client trauma recovery.

I have been researching, writing, teaching, and practicing in the counseling profession for over 15 years. I hold extensive expertise in helping those affected by compulsive sexual behavior, and I understand the steps necessary to experience long-term recovery. I am the Clinical Director of LifeSTAR of the Central Valley, an outpatient treatment program designed for individuals, and couples, affected by pornography and sexual addiction. Through LifeSTAR, I work with both those seeking treatment, and the partners of those who are in the program. I also lead the YouthSTAR program, a treatment program for sexually addicted teenagers.

I am excited to introduce myself to you. My name is Stacy, I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Fresno. Dawn Keller is a psychotherapist working with individuals, couples, adolescents and families. Immersion in the culture of Southern India has enriched her understanding to be able to work cross-culturally particularly with Middle Eastern and South Asian cultures. She is compassionate and utilizes a practical approach that encourages and fosters change, improved insight and appropriate self expansion. Defensive communication, behaviors and attitudes are explored along with useful reframing and developing self awareness that allows for positive change. Dawn is known for her no-nonsense approach as well as for her compassion and humor.

I enjoy partnering with all ages, but especially with adolescents, young adults, adults and seniors going through significant life transitions and crises. Together, we’ll find clues in childhood, family patterns, memories, dreams and nightmares, negative thoughts, and hurtful relationships to alleviate anxiety, fear, depression, grief, and hopelessness. I enjoy working with clients from diverse backgrounds and really resonate with artist, musicians, and other creative types.

I am experienced in working with individuals and couples experiencing difficulties with codependency, anxiety, anger, life transitions, and intimate partner violence. My integration of cognitive behavioral and attachment theories enables an exploration of attitudes, beliefs, behaviors, and past attachments that may be underlying current conflicts. In May 2007, I graduated from California State University with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and shortly after, earned a Master’s of Science degree in Counseling, emphasis on Marriage and Family Therapy. I began my career as a therapist working with juvenile offenders and youth who’d been diagnosed with severe mental health issues. I quickly recognized that many adults who were tasked with raising these troubled youth were struggling with issues that prevented them from being active caretakers. As a result, working with hurting adults became my passion.

As therapist I really enjoy working with couples as well as individual issues. My training and years of experience in assessment and treatment have focused on various relationship issues (i.e. infidelity, communication problems, marital problems, pre-marital issues, etc ) as well as individual struggles (i.e. anxiety, depression, adolescent delinquency, etc) and family problems (parenting, step-families, co-parenting, family cohesion, etc.)

I assist individuals, couples, children, and families to find meaningful connection and worth in their relationships. I firmly believe each person is worthy of dignity, love, and respect; and help my clients to discover these things within themselves. As a mother of six adopted children, I have vast experience in the joys and struggles of parenting. I strive to help others build healthy attachments within couples, families, and parent-child relationships.

My core philosophy on effective therapy is one that is relationship-driven and collaborative of my client’s views and narratives that guide their life stories. I believe that clients are the expert of their lives and that my role is to be a guide and witness to the stories that my clients bring into treatment. Every session is crucial to the overall health and well-being of my clients, and so I believe in creating a space that will allow for freedom, agency, and safety in expressing and fully showing up as one needs to.
