My approach is to help individuals create healthier, happier and more meaningful relationships and lives for themselves. I draw most heavily from Family Systems Theory, Humanistic and Cognitive/Behavioral therapy approaches however, I use a variety of modalities and tailor therapy to each client's needs and personality. My goal is to provide each client a safe and supportive environment in which to express them self.

I work with children, individuals, couples, and families. I believe that our experiences as individuals are greatly affected by our experiences with the systems that surround us; and navigating our place within those systems can prove difficult when done alone. My goal as a therapist is to provide a space that allows us to heal and strengthen relationship that we have with ourselves and our surrounding systems to create a sense of harmony and construct a life for ourselves that reflects the way that we truly want to live.

Sometimes we experience life events that affect us in such a way that we lose our voice, compassion for ourselves and may feel lost. I offer touch-based coaching for touch-starved adult individuals and folks wishing take their self-care and personal growth to the next level. Sessions offer the possibility to slow down and tune in to the body and be on the receiving end of nurturing, platonic touch. Many options for touch include cuddling, touch games and exercises designed to increase an embodied sense of boundaries, attachment-oriented supportive touch, play, and more. Steve’s goal in therapy is to promote the growth and well-being of older teens, adults, couples and families who seek help for stressful situations or new transitions in life. Working with a strength-based, collaborative approach, Steve will contradict negative beliefs about men by providing a safe, supportive space to process past experiences. Life can be challenging and sometimes we need extra support. I specialize in providing individual and family therapy to adults, children, and adolescents that are experiencing a variety of issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, LGBTQ+ issues, family disruptions and conflicts, and peer interactions.
