The clients I see in my practice range in age from 11-80. While each individual has their own story, there are common threads that seem to run through all of us. These threads include loneliness/isolation, anxiety about the future, addiction, the aftermath of heartbreak/loss, work/money stress, longing to understand one’s past, even worry over the ever-changing state of the world. These and other issues, while painful and often confusing, are actually the materials that create change and growth. This is the therapeutic process.

I've been in private practice for over 30 years, working with many populations. I am currently specializing in adults dealing with issues such as: substance abuse, creativity, ADD/ADHD, spirituality, life transitions and aging.

Let’s get one thing straight, therapy is not going to fix you. It’s not going to fix you because you aren't broken. You are in pain, confused, hurt, uncertain, and struggling. The problem is not WHO you are, it is the ways in which you experience and interpret the world around you. The goal in therapy is to reframe the pain points by identifying the problematic thought patterns that perpetuate pain. It is about taking the narrative and identifying the behaviors and thoughts that are working for you and the ones that aren’t.

I have been honored to support many through some of the most significant transitions in their lives. In a decade as a hospital clinician, I have been especially drawn to the beginning and end of life, and the incredible privilege it is to be welcomed to hold space during these times. I specialize in grief and loss, particularly death and dying, and the emotional and spiritual work surrounding other significant transitions, rites of passage, and life cycles. Marcos founded his practice because he wanted to give individuals/couples who struggle with addiction/anger a place where they feel safe to be deeply seen.
