I am a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor, working with children, adolescents, families, couples for pre-marriage & marriage counseling. People struggle with are grief/loss, anxiety, depression, infidelity & traumatic experiences that require Crisis/Critical Incident Response/Debriefing. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and currently pursuing a Registered Play Therapist (RPT) credential. I hold a Master of Arts Degree in Clinical Mental Health with a specialization in Play Therapy from Sam Houston State University. I specialize in trauma treatment with children, adolescents, and adults, utilizing a variety of techniques and theoretical orientations, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), child centered play therapy (CCPT), sand tray therapy, and a variety of evidenced based approaches.

A challenging responsibility in life is to heal emotional wounds. Family crisis, divorce, losses, anxiety or having a child with emotional or intellectual barriers to be successful in life without finding the desired answer creates frustration and distress. Psychotherapy as an alternative isn't the easiest answer but could be insightful and resilient. Children with developmental difficulties, learning disabilities, autism or conduct disorders can benefit from a holistic approach that considers the healing of their emotional pain as resource for reaching developmental goals. My services are provided exclusively by TELE-HEALTH I am an experienced mental health professional who graduated from Psychology School at the University of Costa Rica and since 1995 I have worked as a psychotherapist providing my services for individuals, couples, families and groups.  In 2008 I obtained a Master's (M.Sc.) in Marriage and Family Therapy from Texas Woman's University in Denton, Texas. Since then, I have been working under my LMFT #201365 license in Texas. Throuhgout all my years of my professional experience my passion has been helping and supporting my clients while they overcome their challenges in their lives.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor practicing in the state of Texas. My education includes a BA in Psychology from Stephen F. Austin State University and an MA in Marriage and Family Therapy from University of Houston Clear Lake. My work experience in the mental health field includes various settings and populations such as inpatient, outpatient/private practice, psychosocial clubhouse, foster care, adoption/post adoption, and management of chronic pain.
