Drew Horowitz has a vast range of experiences in working with addiction and mental health disorders. He has gained a wealth of knowledge through his own recovery, extensive training, and a master's level education from the Hazelden Graduate School. Drew has several years of professional experience in addiction services. He has worked extensively within a multitude of populations. After spending nearly 5 years with Hennepin County as a co-occurring mental health and substance abuse professional, Drew went into private practice where he treats individuals and families.

A few key ingredients people need to thrive are safety, significance and a sense of belonging. We need to be seen and heard. I offer a space that is safe for that to happen.

Dr. Jonathan Hoistad has been involved with Developmental Psychology; Clinical Psychology; Health Psychology; and Neuropsychology. He has worked with children, adolescents, and families in a variety of settings. He is expert in Psychological evaluations for ADHD; Learning problems; and emotional problems. His doctoral research on Dialysis and Transplantation has prepared him to help people with medical problems and different surgical interventions. He is involved with NatalisOutcomes.org which measures emotional functioning over time to support people in their getting effective evidence based services.

Currently accepting new clients! I specialize in working with college students and young adults (18-30). I view this age as an optimal window to be working on ourselves, growing, and addressing patterns that may no longer serve us. In addition, I enjoy working with folks of other ages, and couples of any presentation (LGBTQ+, married, dating, engaged, separating). I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor that has experience counseling adults in a variety of settings. I take a person-centered relational approach enhancing client strengths and empowering them through collaboration. I enjoy working with clients that have trauma and/or co-occurring disorders. I understand that some people may be aware that they need help processing their trauma and/or understanding why they are using substances. There are other people that are not as far along in the stages of changes. I believe therapy is a joint effort in processing through life's challenges.
