My goal is to provide compassionate therapy services, working in collaboration with you to help you meet your goals and guide you through the healing process. I work with individuals experiencing a wide range of challenges, including dating, relationships, trauma, violence and assault, PTSD, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, self-harm, and sexuality or gender identity diversity. My background includes victim advocacy and outreach, clinical crisis counseling, animal assisted therapy, and human sexuality education. Taking the first step to reach out for help is not only brave but will be incredibly rewarding.

After a trauma or the death of a loved one, pet or loss of a relationship, we can feel lost, alone, and disconnected from our body. At Talk Lift Heal, my goal is to give you a safe space to process feelings while also offering somatic approaches and techniques. Therapeutic and somatic movement can look different for everyone, my specialty is within strength training and weightlifting. You deserve to feel connected to your body, release stored emotions/body tension, and to feel strong again!

Struggling with mental health issues is hard. Whether it's depression, anxiety, loneliness, a family issue, or spiritual concern, our issues leave us feeling exhausted and defeated. The last thing you want when you're experiencing hardship is another piece of advice telling you what to do. You already have the ability to make necessary change but may need a little extra support to get you there. I offer an inviting, warm, and encouraging therapy environment to come alongside and extend my partnership to assist you in meeting your therapy goals.

I understand that throughout our life’s journey we all will face difficult moments and/or seasons. In order to grow through these times we must embrace the human species’ primal need for survival: meaningful social engagement.

Happy New Year! We are the product of all of our collective experiences - the great, the difficult, and the parts of ourselves we like to shy away from. All of our experiences, especially those during our developmental years, shape our sense of self, the lens in which we view the world, and our place in it. My practice is rooted in social work principles and aspects of positive psychology to help guide you on the healing of the entire individual. I am currently accepting clients for night/weekend sessions.

I see therapy as an interactive journey toward achieving set goals. I believe in providing support for individuals, children, couples, and families through their journeys as a co-pilot. We a systems approach, to work together to recognize patterns in thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and relationships that have developed through your unique experiences. Providing support with issues of grief, depression, anxiety, physical and emotional abuse, divorce, parenting, adjustment, spiritual, and relationship concerns is a priority.

Problems do not occur in a vacuum. Individual problems often have symptoms that affect the entire family system. I work with children, adolescents, couples, and families experiencing whatever problems of the moment. During our work together, we will explore the impact of the issue and join together to generate solutions that not only benefit the people in the room, but may also positively influence future generations.

I am currently accepting new clients for individual, couple, and family therapy. It is my goal to create an inclusive and supportive environment for you to explore your thoughts, feelings, worries, and fears regarding yourself and your relationship.
