I am a client centered therapist, and use therapeutic interventions for positive living and a more fulfilled life. I specialize in women's issues ( parenting, job re-entry, divorce, empty nest, aging parents, post partum depression.) I am experienced working with clients who have anxiety, depression, family issues, divorce and grief . I also enjoy working with teenagers in the areas of anxiety , depression and behavior/lifestyle modification. I am open to working with individuals of all sexual preferences, religions, ethnicities and nationalities. I believe in client knowledge and empowerment through evidence based treatment protocols.

I enjoy working with both couples and individuals. Couples therapy can consist of troubles with communication, sex therapy concerns such as education, dysfunctions, lack of desire/interest, pain in sexual activity, medication side effects, and anxiety/depression related to sexual issues, post-affair recovery, and relationship conflict across the lifespan. I also work with those struggling with depression, anxiety, relational problems, including family systems. Starting this journey can feel awkward at first, but I am here to provide a safe environment for you to process and address a variety of your concerns.

Children and Families have been my passion for the duration of my professional career. Specializing in services to Pre-Kindergarten to college seniors, I utilize a strength-based supportive counseling approach to overcome challenges within and outside the family system. As a passionate and impactful School Counselor, I help students and their families navigate their complex worlds to live a knowledge-rich, healthy, happy life. As a mental health professional, I understand the unique nature of individual school culture that supports and sometimes challenges children. I provide non-school-based supportive counseling services.

Often, parents feel overwhelmed in knowing how to best provide support for those they love most: their children. Children are innately different from adults as they develop into their true selves. In addition to depression/anxiety, my work with younger people includes divorce, school, peer, and various other behavioral issues; with adolescents: freedom/responsibility, identity formation, emotion regulation, and effective communication; with emerging adults: career counseling, independent living, and addressing unfinished business.
