I completed a hospital internship, have taught psychology at the university level, and I am now in private practice. I frequently see patients who have been in treatment previously with little improvement. Careful diagnostic investigation often reveals an incomplete diagnosis and consequently the wrong treatment plan. A careful evaluation of your problems will be my first priority and we will jointly develop a treatment plan. I have extensive experience in the testing and treatment of childhood and adolescent disorders including ADHD, Learning Disabilities, Autism Spectrum disorders, Depression, Phobias and Anxiety Disorders.

My ideal client is someone who is open to the process of change and motivated to change. They may be trying to cope with a loss, past trauma, or going through current life changes and stressors and looking for support and learn new skills to cope. Therapy is a process, so patience with one's self and the process is key.
