Family Solutions is a private counseling agency committed to providing comprehensive outpatient mental health services to the Triad region. Serving our community since 2002, our agency consists of twenty mental health professionals who are fully or provisionally licensed. What does Family Solutions do anyway? We provide therapy/mental health services to children, teens, parents, adults, and families. People choose therapy for a variety of reasons, and here are a few examples: behavioral difficulties and emotional dysregulation, resolving the impact of trauma, coping with school, family, or work stress, managing teen dating relationships, and adjusting to divorce.
Do I have to talk? While adults often prefer to use words to discuss their concerns; children and teens often respond better to activities, creative arts, and play in therapy. We strive to use creative therapeutic modalities that best fit the developmental needs of the person(s) in therapy.

Kinship Care Support Group
Are you parenting again? It’s not easy. Feeling overwhelmed, caught up in the daily grind of raising a child? This is a support group offered periodically for Non-Biological Parents that have transitioned to taking care of a child or children. This is also called Kinship Care. It will be a 5 week support group with 10-12 caregivers in the group. Each week will have a topic of discussion, time of listening and support, sharing resources time and guest speakers.
