Hi, I'm Todd, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate (LMFTA) and Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA) dedicated to guiding individuals, couples, and families towards achieving their therapeutic goals. I am forever inspired by the resilience, innate wisdom, and healing capacity of the individuals, couples, and families with whom I work. My role in the therapy process is to facilitate the achievement of target objectives and to foster insight and skills to improve the experience of living now and into the future. With an educational background in marriage and family therapy, and specialty training in Sex Therapy, Sexuality Education, Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (attachment theory), Emotion Freedom Technique, and Eden Energy Medicine, I work across cognitive, behavioral, emotional, and energetic dimensions to achieve solid, long-term results.

I offer land-based therapy. This work entails an embodied experience of healing through a collaboration with nature and myself. I believe wholeheartedly that our wellness is interwoven with the health of our environment and remembering we are also nature. My office is outdoors, on land being stewarded to enhance the prairie ecosystem and support sustainable food practices. A typical session will include mindfulness practices to regulate the nervous system, activity that supports a relationship not just with self, but also connecting to land, typically through gardening and other land stewarding practices.

If so, you know these can zap the life out of you and your partner, not to mention your relationship. I believe all these feelings can arise from one common enemy, disconnection. Whether that disconnection arose from stress, conflict, infidelity, a diagnosis, or from simply feeling "off," disconnection makes it harder for us to thrive under life’s stressors, let alone build the relationship we want.

A DYNAMIC APPROACH TO INNER CHANGE - By combining conventional therapy with different modalities of working with the subconscious, I offer resources for those situations where you have previously done therapy without feeling much movement or change. Because the subconscious is in control 95% of the time, I offer a different approach to work through issues much faster. My experience has been that it does not need to take a long time to heal if given the right resources. As a Therapist/Licensed Clinical Pastoral Counselor, I am trained in both psychology and theology, and provide psychological as well as spiritual guidance as requested by clients.
