Access Counseling is a non-profit counseling agency in Aransas County. Our team of Licensed Professional Counselors, Linda Lee and Anne Mourtaja,are dedicated to assisting clients in resolving various issues in their lives. Their goal is to assist clients in problem solving and finding new ways to work together and resolve issues. The session formats include meeting with clients individually, as a couple, or as a family unit.

Our goal is to provide mental health care to individuals, families, and organizations in surrounding communities. Much of my work involves helping my clients identify what is going well for them, and learning ways to include more of those positives into their lives. This naturally helps reduce the sting of the negatives life throws at us. I help clients identify their own strengths and develop coping skills for use during difficult times. I have experience in helping clients work through past and recent traumas of all types. I’m a fully certified EMDR practitioner, which is a type of therapy that reprocesses trauma in such a way that clients end up feeling empowered by the same experiences that once debased them.

I believe that every individual, marriage, and family has their own story that comes with unique challenges and difficulties. These difficulties can lead to frustration and unwanted stress in life that can be difficult to navigate alone. I actively work to help you create the space to work through life’s difficulties and to build lasting and meaningful relationships in life. I have experience working in hospital and clinical settings alongside individuals with mood and personality disorders, suicidal ideation, marriage/couples, and other struggles "big" or "small" with every age individuals.

I have 18+ years of experience as a licensed professional counselor. I work with adolescent and adult individuals and couples. Using treatment to address a symptom might not address the issues that causes the symptom. Holistic Counseling looks at the whole picture, not just the color that is peeling off the picture's corner. I truly believe each person has the capacity, strength, and ability to flourish and achieve their goals.
