I have a passion with working with individuals working through multi-facets of life issues including mental illness, stress and anxiety, trauma, marital and relationship stress, self-identity related issues and regulating emotions. I have a passion with helping individuals work on goals including regulating emotions, impulsivity and trauma while increasing self-confidence, quality of life and improve connectivity and intimacy in relationships. I value my Christian faith and offer an option for a focus on Christian principles to be incorporated in the counseling process for those individuals who share similar beliefs.

You love and cherish your child or teenager. And, you work hard to provide for their physical/emotional well-being because happy, healthy kids promote joyful families. But sometimes despite your best efforts, your child continues to struggle with behavioral problems, peer relationships, family changes, deficits in social/emotional development, aftermath of traumatic experiences, or mental health challenges. Many parents like you are tasked to find the necessary help and resources that their children require. My training and experience in issues related to trauma, mental health, and attachment position me well to serve the needs of your family.

We are a counseling practice that serves both adults and children. We offer individual, family, and couples therapy. I work with the healers and helpers who not only have seen the worst in their work, but also have a personal history of trauma. So many in the healing and helping professions have painful backgrounds that have fueled their fire to care for others. Healers experience some of the worst and most rampant burnout which can stem from a number of places including vicarious trauma and having past traumas triggered by clients, systems, and the overall work. Move from an inner place of fear, imposter syndrome and co-dependency to a place of inner security.

I am informed by Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as a basis for emotional processing and behavior change. I am deeply committed to respecting each person's individual experience and work to identify tools and interventions that fit the needs of each person. I believe in an integrative health model exploring the mind, body and environment. I believe that exploring the use of mindfulness techniques can have powerful positive effects with individuals who are open.
