I divide my time between trauma therapy and marriage and family therapy. Welcome! I am a licensed Clinical Psychologist with over 25 years of experience as a psychotherapist. I specialize in the mindfulness-based treatment of anxiety and traumatic stress, depression, and disordered eating. In addition to more traditional talk therapy, I often invite a deepening of our work together through mindfulness and somatic awareness practices, as well as Internal Family Systems (IFS), or "parts" work. I am also certified in Intuitive Eating, a body positive, non-dieting approach to working with food and body concerns.

I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and R.N. in private practice in Georgia and Michigan. My doctoral dissertation researched grief and loss issues. I worked as a psychologist in MI for 24 years and in 2013 moved to GA and established a private practice. For over 2 decades I have presented workshops and seminars nationally at numerous professional organizations with a specialty in the field of dying, grief, and loss. I was widowed at 46, and have co-authored 5 books on grief and 1 on dying. I see clients online or in-person for a variety of counseling needs and co-facilitate educational grief groups (including GriefShare).
