I have been a mental health therapist for twenty three years. I believe in this work. I have been fortunate to be witness to the healing and growth that can take place through good therapy and hard work. Counseling can be a life changing process. In my career I have been fortunate to work with many wonderful professionals and with patients from all walks of life with a variety of issues stemming from mental health disorders and an endless number of life issues and problems.

Got kiddos who are struggling? Parenting make you want to scream? Dreading the next call from your child's the school? If you do, I'd love to spend some time with you and them!! With over a decade working with kids in both outpatient and school-based settings, I've worked with everything from ADHD to trauma to childhood grief. All my experience has led to an incredibly patient heart and a toolbox full of tricks to restore everyone's sanity. I also have substantial experiencing working with siblings, step-families, adoption / foster situations and kids struggling with Reactive Attachment Disorder (RAD).

I am a licensed professional counselor in Arkansas with over 9 years of experience working in the following settings: outpatient, residential, Christian base, and private practice. I have worked with various populations with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, and parenting problems. My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe that everyone has a voice no matter how big or small without fear of being stifled. Thus, I will respect and provide compassion throughout the therapeutic process.

I have experience working with children through geriatric populations. I provide individual, family, relationship, and group services through telehealth. I will work with you to assist you to identify your needs and the goals you wish to achieve. I recognize that people can and do struggle with overwhelming emotions and sometimes need help to calm and overcome them. Some of these emotions are hardwired but others have come from the trauma a person has suffered in their life. I will work to assist you to develop coping skills to be better able to deal with your emotions and everyday life.

I specialize in three types of clients - couples hanging on by a thread, men who are less than thrilled at the idea of attending therapy, and individuals that live under a constant state of performance pressure. As someone who has lived and survived all three of these scenarios personally, I've got a ton of empathy and a box of tools ready for people motivated to achieve change. Whether you're picking up the pieces from infidelity, exhausted from fighting about the same tired topics, or struggling to escape the voices in your head that beat you down, I'm honored to pull up a chair next you and begin sorting through the mess.

Infidelity, sex addiction, communication struggles, and other relationships issues can wreak havoc with a couple, as well as individuals. I can help by providing support through individual, couple, and family sessions. I am a Certified Sexual Addictions Therapist (CSAT) candidate and work on treating the root causes of relationship issues, including addiction and trauma. Whether you are looking for healing, recovery, rebuilding, improvement, or support for you, your partner, or your family, we will work together to achieve your goals. I will meet you where you are on your journey as we work through your struggles together.

I'm a simple guy and straight-shooter, which means I'm a great fit for hard-working folks who want honest, solution-focused discussions about change. Guilt and shame have no place in my counseling room, only the realization that we're all human, all have our flaws, and all are struggling to figure out how to live with less chaos. I love working with men who aren't thrilled about the idea of going to individual or couples therapy, as well as law enforcement and first responders.

People may be dealing with family stresses such as a result of a job loss. Perhaps a child trying to cope with bullying issues. Or maybe battling depression, anxiety, addictions or other traumas.
