I have been counseling children, adolescents, individuals, couples and families for 22 years. We will work together to develop treatment goals and strategies to get things back on course. It is so hard when relationships are stressed or broken, when children are having problems educationally or socially, and when anxiety or depression prevents you from being who you want to be. I can help.
The theoretical counseling model I ascribe to is mostly Cognitive Behavioral. I believe that thoughts directly influence behavior. I also believe that our thoughts are influenced by the people around us, and our past experiences. In order to change behavior it is important to address our thoughts.
