I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a passion for children, youth, and early adults. My drive is to assist individuals in gaining an understanding of the meaning of what is being expressed, expected, or experienced, and provide the behavior and cognitive follow-through that will allow them to make good choices in the current stage of brain development that the individual is in. I have worked with individuals of all ages, families, and couples for 10+ years in stabilizing moods, stabilizing family unity/coherence, improving thought processing, and appropriate development of coping skills and mindfulness.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is my primary form of therapeutic delivery. The identification how thoughts are triggering certain feelings, which are causing various behaviors is beneficial for individuals, families, and marriage. With your approval, I include scripture from the Bible to support the need for intentional changes in thoughts and/or behaviors.
Life brings about many changes and challenges for all ages and groups of people. Coming alongside you to normalize these changes and challenges, while also encourage the realization of driven change and intentional growth is my primary focus.
