Since 1980, Family Guidance Centers have provided counseling for adults, adolescents, children, and marriages. Our licensed therapists provide a wide array of therapy services. We are a steady, experienced group ready to join with you to build personal health. Over the past four decades, we have been an established and highly trusted source for psychological care. We offer 9 locations to serve our clients across Virginia as well as Telehealth services.
In 2001, Family Guidance Centers made another hallmark decision, reaching out to provide mental health services to the underserved community of Powhatan.
In 2016, we expanded to serve the needs of the fast-growing Midlothian area.
In 2020, Family Guidance Centers opened a new location to serve the community of Henrico and Richmond city area.
In 2021, we opened our Virginia Beach location to serve the Tidewater area.
In 2022, we opened our Glen Allen and Brandermill locations!
In 2023, our Newport News location was opened.
