I love to work with people who are actively seeking support for gaining clarity in any areas of stress or discomfort. It is personally fulfilling to help these clients as they work through life's issues. I provide a compassionate atmosphere that supports individual and family exploration of areas of concern; from mood, anxiety, and behavior concerns, to: family, work, school, performance, relationship dynamics. Your own desire for happiness, courage and wisdom will be recognized and nourished.
My practice involves assisting individuals, couples, & families in clarifying & reaching their treatment & life goals. I approach treatment from a systemic & transpersonal perspective; human struggles are part of complex psychological & social systems. I focus on interpersonal understanding & explore the central role that relationships & family dynamics play in influencing behavior & attitudes.
Training & modes used: Humanistic Psychology; Rogerian Client Centered Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Systemic Family Therapy, Family of Origin Therapy, Structural Family Therapy, Behavioral Therapy - Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Brief Solution Focused, Narrative, Object Relations Theory, Hypnotherapy, Body-Awareness, Projective Techniques: Dream work, meditation & mindfulness.

MiddlePath Couseling
Dialectical Behavior Therapy, or DBT, is an intensive outpatient therapy for people who are struggling to manage their emotions, stress, relationships, and impulsive behaviors (ie: self-injury, suicide, drug/alcohol use, eating disorders). DBT is a combination of cognitive-behavioral-therapy and mindfulness practice, and has shown to be effective in helping adolescents and adults with these difficulties. DBT therapists take a compassionate view, accepting you for who you are while helping you change and work toward your goals. The main goal of DBT is to help you build a life worth living.
