Dr. Shedrick McCall, LMHP-R. Dr. McCall has a BA in Psychology (Maryville College), MA in Counseling (Liberty University) and Ed.D. in Counseling Psychology (Argosy University American School of Professional Psychology). Dr. McCall has worked in the field for over 25 years as a Juvenile Psychologist, Forensic Psychologist, Clinician/Counselor for incarcerated youth and has worked within the mental health field with patients/clients with clinical mental health diagnosis. Dr. McCall also has experience with individual, group, and family counseling.

Private pay sessions for 60$ dollars, couples 75$, I take most insurance and the insurance I accept is increasing. I have experience of over 35 years expert professional, licensed in 3 states, CA, VA and WA. Currently in the Wash DC area on assignment with the DOD working with Military Families and providing therapy virtually to clients in California and Washington State. I'm a certified expert provider in CBT, DBT, Mindfulness, Drug and Alcohol Recovery, Family Dynamics and specialist and a DOD consult in Combat, childhood trauma, PTSD Psychotherapy. I also provided Christian counseling upon request.

I have experience working with youth, adolescents, and adults providing individual, family, and couples therapy. Psychological assessments are also provided. I have obtained advanced training in trauma treatment, which includes various modalities such as art/play therapy, Somatic Experiencing, and EMDR. I have over 14 years of experience working in community mental health, alternative school settings, residential treatment, outpatient settings, and correctional facilities.

As a trauma therapist (EMDR) and a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist, (CSAT), I focus on both individual work and repairing broken relationships related to the impact of addiction and trauma. I have studied extensively with Pia Mellody since 1999, honing the skills necessary to work on trauma, codependency, love addiction and developmental immaturity. This groundbreaking work assists people who are either in recovery, have relationship issues or who just want to enhance the quality of their lives.
