I have also lived in California , Arizona, Washington and I currently live in Provo Utah. I have worked with a wide number of different cultures and people of different beliefs. I adhere to a humanistic model of Psychotherapy in that no one person is the same and everyone deserves to be treated with empathy. I focus on each individual's potential and stress of growth and self-actualization.

Clients come in all forms because we all need a little help when life gets overwhelming. Sometimes the problems are environmental, other times they’re internal based on how we respond to stimuli and emotion. In any case, we all need some insight during some parts of our life, to overcome a hurdle or figure out why or how to move forward.

I have practiced in several cities across the U.S., such as San Francisco, Boston, and now Highland, I am well-equipped to provide effective and compassionate therapy to those in need.

Philosophy of Care: I approach the therapeutic relationship as an essential part of the healing process. Life can present us with many challenges. I managed LDS Family Services for 13 years and loved directing the 12-step Addiction Recovery Program in Michigan, New York and Pennsylvania. I've been recruited by multiple residential treatment centers, a hospital, a skilled nursing facility, and by an IOP program assessing and treating substance abuse and domestic violence.

As a marriage and family therapist, I have been successful in helping individuals re-create and maintain enjoyable relationships throughout their lives. My goal as a clinician is to help you and your loved one(s) learn to build loving, trusting, understanding and safe environments and relationships that enable recovery, moving forward and healing. I understand the complexities of life and relationships and how hard it can be to navigate. It can feel overwhelming and even helpless at times. I approach life and therapy with a wide lens. I like to take a holistic approach to mental health and I understand that our mental, physical and spiritual parts are intertwined. As humans we are made to feel emotions. I don’t view life or therapy as a process of learning to avoid difficult or uncomfortable feelings or a process of perfection. I view it as a process of discovery, acceptance, growth, and understanding.
